Illustrator Tool Tip - Type on a circle
I just found a great tool feature on Adobe Illustrator CS3. For years I struggled with type on a circle. Especially getting the type on the inside, without it being reversed. So here it is. Picture included.
The thing you have to look for is the handles on the type path, on the circle. Grab the handle at the top and just start dragging it around.

If you keep the cursor on the outside, the type will stay on the outside

When you move it to the inside of the circle, it will automatically keep the orientation. See the next two images

That’s it! I hope you got something out of this. Now take $20 out of petty cash and go to lunch.
